In order to
ensure total confidentiality and anonymity for patients and
GPs all research using data supplied by EPIC must be covered
by a research or sub-licence agreement:

Patient identification or targeting |
|
|
|
GP or
practice identification, profiling or targeting |
|
|
|
Studies of sales force performance, or effects of
advertising campaigns |

Any reports,
papers or statistical tables that are published or
released externally will be based on a study protocol that
has received ethical approval from a recognised ethics
review board (MREC) or other approved body as notified by
EPIC from time to time. |

|
|
|
The data
should be held by researchers in confidence and in secure
conditions. |
