Feedback reports

There are 3 types of quality indicators that we can provide to researchers in addition to the data. Firstly the information from the feedback reports that THIN send to participating doctors is available to researchers.  Secondly we have expanded the information in the practice file and information in now available on the data quality of each practice. Thirdly we provide all researchers with a research file, a report for researchers which provides a summary of the extent to which certain common data items are recorded.

  THIN Practice file
The THIN practice file is created for each update and provides a summary of information for each practice. There is a computerisation date, a vision date which is when the practice converted to Vision software and a last collection date for each practice. Additionally a data flag for each practice provides an indicator for any gaps in recording over time. Also a EPICGPRD flag indicates whether the practice has contributed to EPICGPRD.
